The Glasgow Area Career Center located at 445 North Green Street is a Field Office of the Kentucky Department for Employment Services (DES), an agency of the Cabinet for Workforce Development. This Center is the lead office for two other Department for Employment Services worksites.  These offices primarily serve the public in four (4) Kentucky counties, consisting of Barren and the three surrounding counties, Hart, Metcalfe, and Monroe, as well as several Tennessee counties. The Management Team includes the Manager, Vickie Wade, and Assistant Manager, Jennifer Strange. The Glasgow Area Career Center is a comprehensive center, providing a single location where individuals and employers can access a variety of free services. This Center is easily accessible and free parking is provided for all of our customers.
